We built an AI Cloud Platform for developers like us. Because …

In college, we were just a bunch of students trying to earn some money and learn along the way. We took up freelance projects from people all over the world. We didn’t know much about startups or big plans; we just loved building stuff that worked.
But every time we finished building something, the real struggle started: getting it live.
DevOps was the problem.
We spent so much time setting up servers, writing config files, fixing deployment errors. It honestly felt like we were spending more time shipping the product than actually building it.
So we tried Heroku. It was simple and worked great for a while. But soon, it got expensive. And we had very little control when projects got bigger.
That’s when we started thinking:
Why can’t the cloud just run itself?
Why can’t deploying be as easy as writing code?
We didn’t want to deal with YAMLs, Dockerfiles, or endless documentation. We just wanted to push our code and see it live.
So, we decided to build it ourselves.
And that’s how Kuberns began.
What is Kuberns?
Kuberns is an AI-powered cloud autopilot. It’s like your personal AI DevOps engineer but without the salary or stress.
You connect your codebase. And that’s it.
Kuberns takes care of:
- CI/CD
- Scaling
- Logs and monitoring
- Configs and secrets
- Backups
- Incident alerts
No setup. No long guides. No writing complicated files.
Just build your app, push it, and let Kuberns do the rest.
Deploy open-source tools in one click
We also added something we really wanted while freelancing. A place where you can launch useful tools with one click.
Need a Slack-like chat app?
A CRM?
A JIRA alternative?
You can deploy all of them from our open-source marketplace, instantly.
- No per-user limits
- No monthly fees
- Just pay for the server
- We take care of everything else (updates, backups, scaling)
It helps small teams and startups save thousands, without giving up control.
Why are we building this?
We’re a small, passionate team.
We’ve worked (and are still working) day and night because we truly believe developers shouldn’t waste time on DevOps.
We just know the pain of dealing with DevOps when you really just want to build and launch your idea.
You should focus on the thing you love: building awesome products.
Our goal is simple:
Make cloud hosting and deployment so easy, you save both time and money.
This is just the first part of our journey.
In the next one, we’ll share how we started building Kuberns, the tools we picked, and the mistakes we made early on.
